Why CEU? Some of you are wondering why CEU, and here is why I choose CEU as my Medical School of choice.
At the start of my NMAT journey, I have already set into my mind that San Beda University College of Medicine is my target school, considering that SBU-COM is an institution for developing great physicians and their low PR requirement. I am not taking a typical “pre-med” course, so I knew that I have a disadvantage when it comes to the core topics of the test. Probably, my only advantage is when it comes to the Quantitative and Physics part of the test.
May 3rd, the CEU-SOM released their First List of Accepted Student for A.Y. 2019-2020, and luckily, I was part of the list.
The office has given the students two weeks to reserve our slots, marking May 13 as the deadline. The National Elections was held the same day as the deadline, hence making it as a National Holiday.
On May 15, I paid the reservation fee of twenty thousand pesos (Php 20,000). Sadly, the reservation fee is non-refundable. Two days after, the SBU-COM released their First List. Unfortunately, I already paid for my reservation.
Now, being enrolled in CEU-SOM, I only have high hopes and wishful thinking that maybe this institution is where I belong. But, I can’t help thinking that missed opportunity.
